Bleed: instead of having a white border around the edge of the image you can cut the picture to size so that the picture goes all the way to the edge.



Paragraph styles: where you can change the styles of lettering with colour, font, size and other things.

Brief for alcohol leaflet

I need to design a leaflet to warn teenagers to the dangers of drinking excessive alcohol. I will be targeting a teenage audience and will need to make the leaflet appealing to them. I an designing the leaflet for the tawa college counselling service. I will be using Photoshop, indesign and word.

Design dossier evaluation

Whats good:

• My background reflects me as i reflects my intrests.
• I managed to put an image in there that can be seen
• I used a gradient effect on my image
• My text is bold

Whats bad:

• You can hardly see the text
• The background is cluttered
• Your attention is drawn too much to the background instead of whats important like the image and text.
• Ineed more information on myself
• My font doesnt and stand out

What i can change to make it better:

• Choose a different font or colour of text
• Have a simpler background, not as many images
• Not as bright background so the attention is drawn to me and the information
• Write more information on myself
• ask charika for help more often
